Ares Watch Co., renowned for its American-made Mission Timers, has entered an exclusive licensing agreement with firearms giant SIG SAUER, extending through 2027. This high-caliber partnership unites two precision-focused brands in a mission to craft limited-edition tactical watches inspired by the M17 and M18 Modular Handgun Systems, the standard-issue sidearms across all branches of the U.S. military.
The debut model in the collection, the M17-DIVER-1, takes its cues from Ares’ durable Diver series. Engineered with 316L stainless steel components and driven by a Swiss Ronda 715Li movement, the watch boasts a C3 Super LumiNova dial and water resistance tested to a formidable depth of 1,250 meters—making it a purpose-built instrument for the most demanding environments.
Following closely is the M18-FIELD-1, modeled after Ares’ iconic Field watch. It features a 5-jewel Swiss Ronda 715 movement encased in 316L stainless steel, finished with military-grade M-18 CERAKOTE for enhanced durability. A domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a precision brass dial, and luminous Super LumiNova C3 markers ensure clarity in even the lowest-light conditions.
Both watches are delivered in a serialized, hand-painted “grenade can” presentation case, accompanied by a custom VS-17A watch roll, reinforcing their tactical pedigree.
Ares founder Matt Graham—a former CIA officer and Federal Air Marshal—hailed the collaboration as a continuation of his enduring bond with SIG SAUER and a shared commitment to American craftsmanship and operational performance.
