The 34.18-meter explorer yacht Akiko was recently spotted docked in the stunning Raja Ampat Islands, Indonesia, following a successful three-week expedition. Originally delivered in 2007 by Alloy Yachts, Akiko was sold in July of last year and continues to showcase the exceptional craftsmanship of designer Gregory C. Marshall, who was responsible for both its exterior design and naval architecture. The yacht’s refined interior was curated by Australian design firm Lahaus.
Designed to accommodate up to 12 guests in five luxurious staterooms, Akiko also provides quarters for a crew of six, including the captain. A major refit in 2023 saw the yacht receive a fresh exterior repaint and modifications to its aft deck, further enhancing the guest experience. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, the vessel cruises comfortably at 10 knots, with a top speed of 13 knots.
