Kazakh charter operator Alaman Air has expanded its fleet by adding its first CRJ200ER, doubling the airline’s aircraft count, according to ch-aviation research.
The newly acquired aircraft, registered as UP-CJ015 (msn 7676), completed its maiden flight under Alaman Air from Trabzon to Nuremberg on February 13, 2025, in full company livery, flight data from Flightradar25 shows. While the airline has not disclosed its operational plans, local aviation news outlet Alaradar reports that the jet will be used for air ambulance services.
The 22.5-year-old CRJ200ER was initially delivered to Malev Express in 2002 and later operated by SCAT Airlines before joining Alaman Air. It features a 50-seat all-economy configuration and last flew for SCAT on April 16, 2024, between Shymkent and Almaty International.
Alaman Air also operates a Pilatus PC-24 registered as UP-PC007 (msn 335), which remains active, most recently flying from Abuja to Larnaca via Djerba on February 25, 2025 under the airline’s TTR code.
Established in November 2021, Alaman Air obtained its air operator’s certificate (AOC) in February 2024. The Almaty-based company is registered as a limited liability partnership led by Erbol Abylaevich Ospanov, according to Kazakhstan’s civil aviation register.
