In December, the Maldives’ Faro Marina welcomed three impressive superyachts: Anawa, Vector, and Galileo. The 57-meter Vector, built by Benetti in 2018, stands out with its steel-hulled displacement design crafted by the shipyard’s in-house team. Its luxurious interior, designed by Italian Luca Dini, offers five staterooms, accommodating 12 guests and 14 crew members. Powered by twin Caterpillar diesel engines producing 1,470 horsepower each, Vector reaches a top speed of 15 knots.
Alongside her is the 62-meter Anawa, delivered in 2020 by Damen Yachting. Built for global exploration and designed to Polar Class standards, this explorer yacht offers up to 30 days of autonomous cruising. Anawa features two large tender garages, a dive store, and a fully equipped helipad, making her perfect for long expeditions.
Rounding out the trio is the 55.7-meter Galileo, a renowned explorer yacht delivered by Perini Navi in 2011. Having completed two full circumnavigations, Galileo has explored remote regions such as the Northwest Passage and the Pacific Ocean.
