The 50-meter Amels motor yacht Mercury has been sold, with Grégory Gheraïa of BlackOrange Yachts representing the buyer.
Originally delivered in 2001, Mercury was built by Amels as part of the renowned Tigre D’Or 50 series. The yacht features both interior and exterior designs by Terence Disdale Design, with naval architecture also provided by Amels.
With a gross tonnage of 613 GT, Mercury stands out for its generous interior space, especially in comparison to other yachts of its size. Reymond Langton’s interior design offers a blend of elegance and contemporary style that complements the yacht’s spacious layout.
The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests and 12 crew members, including a captain’s cabin on the bridge deck and a sixth nanny cabin on the main deck. The five staterooms include an owner’s suite with a private salon and office, two VIP double staterooms, and two twin staterooms with Pullman beds.
Across three expansive decks, Mercury offers various areas for relaxation, including social lounges, dining spaces with panoramic views, and a sundeck featuring sun pads, lounge chairs, a Jacuzzi, and a bar.
Having undergone numerous recent upgrades and maintained to a high standard, Mercury holds a Lloyd’s class certification (100A1 SSC Yacht mono G6 LMC UMS). Powered by twin 1200hp Cummins diesel engines, the yacht can cruise at 13 knots and reach a top speed of 15 knots.
