The Southwestern Association for Indian Arts (SWAIA) is excited to announce the return of SWAIA Native Fashion Week (SNFW), set to take place from May 7 to May 11, 2025. Building on the success of its inaugural event, SNFW will feature multiple runway shows, pop-up shops, activation spaces, and fashion panels—all aimed at celebrating Indigenous creativity, amplifying Indigenous voices, and fostering networking opportunities for artists and industry professionals.
“We are thrilled to invite the community to join us in celebrating Indigenous creativity and innovation at this year’s Native Fashion Week,” said Jamie Schulze, Executive Director of SWAIA. “Additionally, we are seeking a fashion producer to collaborate with our team on the event, and we encourage qualified applicants to submit proposals by December 20, 2024.”
SWAIA Native Fashion Week is made possible by the generous support of partners such as the New Mexico Multi-Cultural Foundation, Heritage Hotels, the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians, the City of Santa Fe, Malouf on the Plaza, N8tive Beauty, and Meow Wolf, with media partnerships from Table Magazine New Mexico, Cowboys & Indians, and Native American Art Magazine.
