Registrar Corp, the world’s largest cosmetics compliance company, has announced its acquisition of the UK and Ireland-based Personal Care Regulatory (PCR) Group, a leader in cosmetic regulatory, toxicology, and compliance services. This move strengthens Registrar’s position as a global regulatory powerhouse by combining its expertise in U.S. FDA compliance with PCR’s specialized knowledge in EU and UK regulations.
The merger enhances Registrar’s ability to offer comprehensive, end-to-end services, including acting as a Responsible Person in the UK and EU. The acquisition also expands Registrar’s team of toxicologists and regulatory experts, allowing the company to provide a broader range of services, from product safety reports to post-market monitoring.
Mojgan Moddaresi, founder and managing director of PCR, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “By joining forces with Registrar, we can serve more companies, broaden our capabilities, and ensure greater safety for consumers.”
Registrar’s expanded offerings now include enhanced regulatory compliance for UK and EU markets, expert toxicology support, and the ChemComply software platform designed to streamline safety and compliance management.
Raj Shah, CEO of Registrar Corp, commented, “This acquisition strengthens our mission to keep people and the planet safe by helping companies meet global compliance standards. Our combined reach now helps protect nearly 900 million people across the U.S., Canada, UK, and EU.”
This acquisition marks a significant milestone in Registrar Corp’s ongoing effort to provide seamless compliance solutions for the global cosmetics industry.
