The 88.51-meter explorer yacht Olivia O was recently spotted in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, showcasing a blend of cutting-edge design and rugged capability. Built on an Ulstein offshore platform in Norway, the project was completed at Palumbo in Malta, with Ulstein handing over the hull and superstructure to the owner in 2020.
Designed by Espen Øino, Olivia O is a 4,989 GT superyacht and one of the first private vessels to feature the Ulstein X-Bow hull. This innovative design enhances stability and efficiency, especially in challenging seas like those found in the North Sea.
Inside, the yacht offers luxurious accommodations for up to 20 guests in eight staterooms. The interior, designed by Droulers Architecture, is highlighted by impressive 2.7-meter ceiling heights, which contribute to a spacious and airy environment. Key features of Olivia O include a nearly enclosed upper deck with panoramic glass walls, a certified helipad, a midship tender garage, and a spacious open pool area at the stern.
