Samsung is gearing up to expand the rollout of its stable One UI 6 Watch update, initially launched for beta users of the Galaxy Watch 6 series last month after eight rounds of testing. Now, non-beta users of the Galaxy Watch 6 can anticipate receiving this update starting November 12, beginning in Canada and gradually reaching other countries in the following days or weeks.
The One UI 6 Watch update, built on Wear OS 5, promises significant enhancements, including streamlined navigation, advanced health tracking features, and new customization options for watch faces. These improvements aim to enrich the user experience and provide more personalized control over the smartwatch.
Beta participants in regions such as Korea and the US have already gained access to these updates, and they are encouraged to install the latest stable version to ensure their devices stay compatible with future releases.
Samsung also plans to extend the One UI 6 Watch update to older models, including the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4, later this month. Although precise release dates for these models are yet to be disclosed, users can expect availability soon.
For now, Galaxy Watch 6 owners should remain vigilant for update notifications as Samsung aims to boost health tracking and overall functionality with this latest release.
