The 55-meter superyacht Serena, crafted by Heesen, is currently undergoing sea trials in the North Sea in preparation for its anticipated delivery later this year.
Launched in August 2024, Serena showcases exterior design by Omega Architects, interiors by Luca Dini Design & Architecture, and naval architecture from Van Oossanen Naval Architects. Construction began in spring 2022, with the project sold and managed by Arcon Yachts Monaco. The owners, experienced yacht enthusiasts, collaborated closely with Heesen’s engineers and design teams.
With a gross tonnage of 760 GT and a beam of 9.6 meters, Serena accommodates up to 12 guests in a five-stateroom layout, along with quarters for a crew of 13. The owner’s suite, located on the main deck, features a lounge and office area, a full-beam stateroom with a private veranda, and an ensuite bathroom.
On the lower deck, guests are housed in four staterooms: two double staterooms and two twin staterooms equipped with Pullman berths, each featuring unique marble finishes in their ensuite bathrooms. Additionally, the gym on the bridge deck can be converted into a sixth stateroom if needed.
A highlight of Serena is its expansive 110-square-meter sundeck, designed for flexibility and comfort, complete with forward-facing seating that offers stunning sea views.
Constructed with a steel hull and aluminum superstructure, Serena is powered by twin MTU engines, enabling a cruising speed of 13 knots and a top speed of 15.5 knots, with a cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at 13 knots.
