Unilever has officially sold its Russian subsidiary to Arnest Group, a prominent Russian manufacturer of perfume, cosmetics, and household products. The deal includes all of Unilever’s business operations in Russia, four manufacturing sites, and its operations in Belarus.
Unilever CEO Hein Schumacher confirmed the completion of the sale, marking the company’s full withdrawal from Russia. This move comes as Unilever, like many Western companies, faced increasing pressure to exit the Russian market due to the ongoing geopolitical situation.
