Cardi B delighted her Instagram followers by revealing her latest additions to her impressive Hermès Birkin bag collection. The Grammy-winning artist shared a photo of three new crocodile Birkins, captioning it, “My new three. Had to get right for the fall.”
While the exact number of bags in her collection remains undisclosed, it’s estimated to be worth over $2 million. The new purses feature a striking crimson crocodile hue, along with gray and mustard yellow options. Crocodile Birkins typically start at around $60,000, depending on the color and materials.
Following the initial reveal, Cardi took her fans into her spacious closet to display more of her luxurious collection. Among her prized possessions was a dark blue Kelly Cut Exotic Handbag valued at $27,000, which prompted her to admit, “I’m running out of space” for her bags.
One standout piece was the rare 30 cm Himalaya Hermès Birkin, known for its staggering resale value starting at $300,000, according to Vogue. Cardi’s collection includes a variety of colors, from red and orange to teal and violet.
She also showcased her “House Birkin,” a unique gift from estranged husband Offset, currently listed on 1stdibs for an eye-watering $398,975. Additionally, she highlighted her “plain Janes,” which consist of solid-color Birkins in black, green, pink, and cream, stating, “I still love my plain Janes!”
This isn’t the first time Cardi has shared her Birkin collection online. She previously posted pictures of her daughter Kulture, 6, with her bags, including a bedazzled rainbow Birkin. In 2021, Cardi even matched her blue hair to a blue Birkin she purchased for approximately $79,000.
