Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. (PCL) has announced the appointment of Trevor Arthur as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2024.
Arthur brings extensive experience in automotive business management to his new role, returning to Canada after serving as Vice President, Area West, at Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (PCNA) for eight years. He initially joined Porsche in 2008 as a regional manager for PCL and later became Sales Director until 2016.
Prior to his tenure at Porsche, Arthur held positions in sales and service with other automotive brands in Canada. He holds a diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Automotive Marketing from Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario.
He succeeds John Cappella, who led PCL since September 2022. Under Cappella’s leadership, the Canadian subsidiary achieved significant milestones, including surpassing 10,000 units sold for the first time and reaching its highest annual sales level in 2023. Cappella also oversaw the development of the first Porsche Experience Centre, set to open in the Greater Toronto Area in early 2025. He has now transitioned to the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at PCNA.
A successor for Arthur’s previous position as Vice President, Area West, at PCNA will be announced in the near future.
