Renowned New Zealand distillery Thomson Whisky has announced a new partnership with The Whisky List, designating it as the exclusive distributor of its products in Australia. This collaboration follows Thomson Whisky’s recent accolade at the 2024 New Zealand Spirits Awards, where its Manuka Smoke Single Malt won the prestigious New Zealand Innovation Trophy.

Founded in 2009 by Mat and Rachael Thomson, the distillery has established itself as a pioneering force in New Zealand’s whisky landscape, particularly known for its innovative use of native manuka wood in the smoking process, which imparts a distinctive character to its single malts.
Earlier this year, The Whisky Exchange UK commended Thomson Whisky for its “trailblazing spirit,” and recognized it as their “Rising Star” producer for 2024.
