German car manufacturer Porsche has unveiled plans for its third residential high-rise, the Porsche Design Tower Bangkok, which it heralds as an “architectural masterpiece.” Developed in collaboration with real estate firm Ananda Development, the 95-meter-tall building will rise as a symbol of luxury in Thailand’s capital.
The 21-storey Porsche Design Tower Bangkok will feature 22 luxury duplex and quadplex apartments, elevated above an exposed pedestal structure. This new project follows Porsche’s previous residential ventures in Miami, USA, and Stuttgart, Germany.
Lutz Meschke, Porsche’s deputy chairman of the executive board, emphasized the strategic importance of the tower, stating, “This unique, exclusive architectural masterpiece fits perfectly into our approach to broaden the appeal to our most discerning customers by offering them exclusive experiences in all areas of life.” He further highlighted the growing significance of Southeast Asia for Porsche, noting the region’s prominence in major events.
The design includes a spiral access ramp at the center, leading to communal garages. These “passion spaces,” as described by Porsche, are intended for residents to showcase their car collections and socialize. The garages are envisioned as sophisticated venues for social gatherings and exclusive events.
The building’s facade will feature terrace doors inspired by the Porsche 911’s retractable roof, offering a seamless indoor-outdoor living experience. The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok will also boast a 25-meter swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and social and business lounges.
Construction is set to begin in early 2025, with completion anticipated by late 2028. The Porsche Design Tower Bangkok joins a growing trend of luxury car brands entering the real estate market, following recent projects by Aston Martin, Bugatti, and Bentley in various global locations.
