The 73.2-meter explorer yacht Planet Nine was recently seen cruising off the coast of Corfu, Greece. Built by Admiral in 2018 as its flagship and designed by Tim Heywood, the superyacht has recently undergone a refit at Amico in Genova.
Planet Nine boasts a military-inspired design, emphasizing its role as a high-end expedition vessel. It features an ice-classed hull and a substantial volume of 2,100 GT, providing luxurious accommodation for up to 12 guests across nine staterooms. Notably, the yacht includes a 3,000 square-foot private owner’s deck, complete with a suite, salon, and terrace.
Additional amenities on the yacht include a helipad equipped with an MD 600 Explorer helicopter, a cinema, a spa, a beach club, and a gym. Designed for global exploration, Planet Nine offers a range of 6,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 14 knots, powered by twin Caterpillar 3516 engines.
Currently listed for sale with Fraser, Planet Nine is set to be showcased at the Monaco Yacht Show 2024.
