BMW has partnered with Mattel to bring Uno Car Party, a customized version of the popular card game, to select BMW vehicles. The game can be played on the car’s infotainment screen, offering a fun solution for those who’ve always wanted to play Uno on the go without worrying about losing cards between the seats.
To play, occupants use their personal smartphones as controllers. However, the game can only be activated when the vehicle is parked, ensuring safety. The feature is available in BMW models running Operating System 8.5, including the 5 Series, 7 Series, iX, X5, X6, X7, and XM. These vehicles must also be equipped with an embedded personal eSIM and have received a recent over-the-air update.
In addition to Uno, the AirConsole platform, which powers the in-car games, includes other titles like “Who Wants to be a Millionaire?” and various lesser-known games, providing entertainment options for all passengers.
