BOC Aviation, the Singapore-based aircraft leasing company, has announced the lease of three Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft to LOT Polish Airlines, due for delivery in 2025. The agreement marks BOC Aviation’s first partnership with Polish national carrier LOT.
“We are delighted to welcome one of Poland’s most recognisable brands, the Polish flag carrier, to our client base,” said Steven Townend, CEO and Managing Director of BOC Aviation. He emphasised the importance of global partnerships in the lessor’s strategy, saying: “As a global lessor, we continue to build relationships with airline clients around the world and diversify our lessee network. These aircraft will support LOT Polish Airlines’ growth strategy to become one of the world’s most popular and fuel-efficient single-aisle jets.”
According to Cirium fleet data, LOT Polish Airlines currently operates 74 aircraft, including 12 Boeing 737 Max 8s and six 737-800s.
