Natura &Co is reportedly advancing with plans to spin off Avon International, potentially through an initial public offering (IPO) by the end of this year. This move follows the Brazilian beauty conglomerate’s February announcement regarding the possible separation of its remaining beauty divisions.
According to The Rio Times, Natura &Co is contemplating a 2025 international listing for Avon International. The proposed split would result in the creation of two separate entities.
The decision to pursue this separation stems from ongoing ‘operational challenges’ encountered since Natura &Co’s acquisition of Avon. Integration issues and underwhelming performance have reportedly failed to meet the company’s expectations.
