LVMH has unveiled a series of high-profile appointments within its watches division, affecting top roles at Hublot and TAG Heuer.
Ricardo Guadalupe, who has led Hublot as CEO since 2012, will transition to the role of honorary president, stepping away from day-to-day operational duties, the company announced on Wednesday.
Julien Tornare, currently the head of TAG Heuer, will take over as CEO of Hublot. Tornare, who brings 26 years of experience in the watchmaking industry with previous executive roles at Vacheron Constantin and Zenith, is set to lead Hublot into its next phase.
Antoine Pin will succeed Tornare as CEO of TAG Heuer. Pin, who joined LVMH in 2002 as Zenith’s international marketing director, has held various senior management positions within the group, including roles at TAG Heuer in Japan and Korea, Bulgari, and Berluti. He has been serving as general manager of Bulgari Horlogerie for the past five years.
All three appointments will take effect on September 1.
Frédéric Arnault, CEO of LVMH’s watches division, expressed gratitude for Guadalupe’s contributions: “I would like to sincerely thank Ricardo Guadalupe and his teams for their fantastic work building the brand over these past 20 years.” Arnault also highlighted the significance of the new leadership: “Julien Tornare’s arrival at the head of Hublot marks the beginning of a new chapter dedicated to the future of our maison and the strengthening of its unique position among leading watch brands. I am also delighted to welcome Antoine Pin into our watches division at TAG Heuer. His extensive international experience, expertise, and well-recognized passion for watches will be major assets in continuing TAG Heuer’s growth and elevation.”
