LONDON — Harrods, the renowned luxury retailer celebrating its 175th anniversary, is honoring its prestigious partnership with the world’s leading high jewellery brands with a special two-week celebration.
Harrods boasts the most extensive collection of high jewellery brands under one roof, offering unparalleled access to the finest, rarest, and most exquisite pieces globally. This summer, the retailer has curated a showcase featuring its esteemed high jewellery partners, including Tiffany & Co, Boucheron, Bulgari, Van Cleef & Arpels, Graff, and Harry Winston.
The exhibition, running throughout July, highlights the latest collections and rarest pieces from these brands, many of which debuted at Couture in Paris just weeks ago. Exclusive to Harrods, clients have the opportunity to acquire some of the world’s most unique and sought-after jewellery creations.
Annalise Fard, senior director of beauty, home, fine watches, and jewellery at Harrods, remarked, “Jewellery has always been central to our heritage as the world’s leading luxury retailer. As we celebrate our 175th anniversary, this showcase exemplifies our commitment to creativity, craftsmanship, and our enduring partnerships with the foremost haute joaillerie Maisons.”
The celebration commenced with an exclusive black-tie gala at the historic Old Royal Naval College, featuring guests like actress Amy Jackson adorned in Tiffany & Co, and a mesmerizing drone show over the Greenwich skyline.
Following the private event, clients were invited to an exclusive preview of the exhibition before its public opening on July 15th. Throughout the month, visitors can explore these extraordinary pieces firsthand in Harrods’ Fine Jewellery room, with opportunities for consultations with each brand.
Beth Hannaway, director of buying for fine jewellery and watches, highlighted the collection’s significance, stating, “Harrods is dedicated to curating the most exceptional and rare finds in high jewellery. This exhibition showcases why clients trust us for their most significant purchases, featuring elegant, rarified, and exquisite pieces from around the globe.”
From the iconic Question Mark necklace by Boucheron to Tiffany & Co’s stunning bracelet adorned with Umba sapphires, opals, and diamonds, each piece in this exhibition represents a pinnacle of artistic expression and craftsmanship in jewellery design.
Harrods invites enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike to experience this unparalleled showcase of haute joaillerie, embodying the essence of luxury and sophistication within the heart of London.
