Top Shelf International (TSI) has successfully secured a nationwide distribution deal for its Act of Treason Australian Agave with Endeavour Group’s Dan Murphy’s and BWS stores.
Starting in mid-July, Act of Treason will be available in all Dan Murphy’s locations across the country and in select BWS stores that cater to consumers with a preference for Tequila and agave spirits.
TSI CEO Trent Fraser expressed excitement over the product’s reception since its launch in January. “We have been overwhelmed by the response to Act of Treason since it was launched,” Fraser said. “This announcement, along with the recent gold medals in San Francisco and London, are significant milestones in our ambition to build an Australian Agave category led by Act of Treason.”
TSI has focused on expanding Act of Treason’s presence in key on-premise venues along the east coast, particularly in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and the Whitsundays. The deal with Endeavour represents TSI’s first major retail distribution agreement, complementing its initial strategy of targeting on-premise locations.
The agreement comes at a time of international recognition for Act of Treason, which was named the World’s Best Speciality Spirit at the World Drinks Awards. It also earned gold medals at the World Drinks Awards and the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and achieved a score of 95 points at the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
