Porsche has launched the sixth edition of its global art initiative, “The Art of Dreams,” in Provence, France. This edition celebrates the region’s vibrant colors, mirroring the synergy between art and the new Provence color of the electric Porsche Macan.
Dutch artist Thomas Trum, renowned for his bold use of color, collaborated with Porsche to create “The Land of Dreams.” Trum’s innovative work examines the interplay between humans and machines, employing unconventional tools such as agricultural equipment to produce dynamic artworks.
Trum’s Southern Spins series, featuring large-scale canvases, was prominently displayed at the Design Parade Hyères festival and along the French Riviera at the end of June, following its debut at Hotel Le Provençal.
Since its inception in Paris in 2021, “The Art of Dreams” has captivated audiences worldwide, with previous installations featured at prestigious events like Singapore Art Week and Art Basel Miami. Highlighting the significance of this collaboration, Ragnar Schulte, Head of Experiential Marketing at Porsche, remarked: “Color and Porsche have always been inseparable.”
