At 16:00 BST today, Bentley will introduce the fourth generation of their most powerful vehicle to date, the Continental GT Speed. This model boasts an impressive 771 horsepower and 1000 Nm of torque, achieved through an ‘Ultra Performance Hybrid’ system, marking the first time Bentley has incorporated electrification into their vehicles.
The hybrid system offers an electric-only range of 80 kilometers, bringing the Continental GT Speed’s carbon emissions below 50g/km. This development is a significant step in Bentley’s Beyond100 initiative, aimed at establishing the brand as a leader in sustainable luxury mobility. Despite these advancements, Bentley assures that the vehicle maintains the handcrafted luxury and exceptional materials that define the brand.
Dubbed an “everyday supercar,” the new Continental GT Speed features all-wheel drive, torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, an electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD), and a 48V anti-roll control system, delivering a refined yet dynamic driving experience.
Adding to its accolades, the Continental GT Speed has set a new record for the highest speed reached underwater, clocking an astounding 335 km/h in Norway’s Ryfylke Tunnel, the longest and deepest subsea road tunnel in the world.
