BMW has once again stirred the automotive world with the unveiling of the all-new 2025 X3, showcasing a redesigned grille that amplifies its bold aesthetic.
The focal point of the new BMW X3 is its enlarged and more upright grille, adorned with vertically and diagonally arranged bars. Optional BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting further accentuates each grille element, while L-shaped LED sources enhance visibility during daytime driving and serve as side lights and turn signal indicators. According to BMW, these design elements imbue the X3 with a commanding presence and sharp angles.
Notably, the grille design varies between the standard X3 and the performance-oriented X3 M50 xDrive, which features horizontally oriented M kidney grilles.
Underneath its striking exterior, the BMW X3 offers a versatile range of powertrains. The plug-in hybrid X3 30e xDrive pairs a 2.0L four-cylinder petrol engine with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 299 horsepower and offering an electric range of 50-56 miles. Meanwhile, the X3 M50 xDrive boasts a potent 3.0L six-cylinder engine delivering 398 horsepower, capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in approximately 4.6 seconds.
Inside, the X3 introduces several new features, including the BMW Curved Display, BMW Interaction Bar, and a modernized cockpit featuring a flat-bottomed steering wheel and redesigned gear selector. The interior boasts extensive customization options and increased cargo capacity, ranging from 570 to 1,700 liters.
Exterior enhancements include new paint finishes and a choice of wheel sizes ranging from 18 to 21 inches, ensuring a tailored aesthetic.
The eagerly anticipated BMW X3 is scheduled for launch in Europe and the USA in the fourth quarter of 2024, followed by availability in other markets starting January 2025. This latest iteration promises to redefine luxury SUV standards with its innovative design and advanced technology suite.
