The scholarship, tailored to individuals demonstrating exceptional drive, commitment, and a passion for the pub sector, offers a transformative opportunity for recipients to elevate their careers. The winner will be awarded an Allara Learning leadership program valued at up to $5000, while nine finalists will each receive a $1000 Allara Learning training voucher, equipping them with essential leadership and operational skills.
Andrew Lewis, CEO of Allara Learning, emphasized the pivotal role of nurturing emerging talent in ensuring the industry’s sustained success. “Empowering our aspiring leaders with the requisite skills and knowledge is paramount for driving innovation and excellence within hospitality,” he remarked, underscoring the abundant opportunities for career advancement and diversification within the dynamic realm of hotel management.
Applications for the scholarship are currently open, with a deadline set for 11:59pm on Monday, 15th July 2024. Prospective candidates are required to complete an application form and obtain a reference from a senior manager. Shortlisted applicants will proceed to the subsequent phase of the selection process, which entails submitting a short video presentation.
The culmination of the scholarship program will coincide with the Pub Leaders Summit conference in Sydney on Tuesday, 10th September, where the recipient of the Future Leaders Scholarship will be unveiled.
