After completing a transatlantic voyage, the 62-meter superyacht Rio has docked for maintenance at Damen Shiprepair & Conversion in Texel, a Dutch Wadden Island situated off the coast of the Netherlands. Originally constructed by the renowned Italian shipyard CRN in 2022, Rio stands as a bespoke vessel boasting an exterior design conceptualized by Omega Architects. Complementing its impressive exterior, the yacht‘s interior, characterized by an exotic ambiance accentuated with vibrant hues, was meticulously fashioned by Pulina Exclusive Interiors.
Proudly flying the flag of Malta, Rio can graciously accommodate up to 12 guests within its six opulent staterooms. This floating marvel is equipped with an elevator servicing all decks, a sumptuous spa pool adorning the owner’s deck, a beach club, and a cinema located on the wheelhouse deck, ensuring unparalleled comfort and entertainment for its occupants.
In terms of performance, the 1,190 gross tonnage superyacht is driven by twin Caterpillar 3512C diesel engines, each boasting an impressive output of 1,672 horsepower. This robust powertrain enables Rio to achieve a notable top speed of 15 knots, promising exhilarating voyages across the open seas.
Following its stay at Damen Shiprepair & Conversion, Rio is scheduled to undergo a comprehensive refit at Balk Shipyard, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its illustrious journey across the world’s waters.
