Delivered in 2018 by Damen Yachting, the 55.3-metre support yacht Power Play showcases the shipyard’s comprehensive design expertise, with both its exterior and interior crafted in-house. Recently spotted cruising in Seattle, Washington, after a voyage from San Francisco, Power Play frequently accompanies larger yachts like Mogambo and Moonrise, under the stewardship of an experienced owner.
With a gross tonnage of 489 GT, Power Play offers ample space for both guests and crew. The yacht accommodates up to six guests in three luxurious staterooms and supports a crew of up to 20 members, ensuring a high level of service and comfort. Notably, the yacht features a floating heliport, a rare attribute for support vessels, facilitating smooth helicopter operations.
The full-displacement yacht also boasts extensive storage capabilities for tenders and water toys and is equipped with a workshop and dive center, catering to a variety of recreational activities. On the performance front, Power Play is powered by four Caterpillar 3512C TA diesel engines, achieving a maximum speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots, ensuring swift and efficient travel between destinations.
Power Play’s versatile design and robust capabilities make it an invaluable companion for luxury yachts, providing seamless support and enhancing the overall yachting experience.
