A few weeks ago, the 55-meter superyacht Moskito made an impressive appearance docked at Falmouth Harbour in Antigua. Built on speculation and delivered in 2021 by renowned shipbuilder Heesen, Moskito is a testament to modern maritime luxury and design.
The yacht’s exterior was crafted by Omega Architects, while its elegant interior was designed by Bannenberg & Rowell Design. The 757 GT vessel offers sumptuous accommodations for up to 12 guests across six lavish staterooms and can house a crew of 13, ensuring top-tier service and comfort.
Moskito boasts a range of high-end amenities designed for both relaxation and entertainment. These include a sun deck featuring a Jacuzzi, an outdoor bar, a beach club, a fully equipped gym, and a selection of water toys. Such facilities make her an ideal vessel for luxurious getaways and adventurous excursions alike.
Powered by twin MTU 8V 4000 M63 engines, Moskito achieves a top speed of 15.5 knots and cruises smoothly at 13 knots, demonstrating a blend of performance and elegance. She is part of Heesen’s distinguished 55m Steel series and will soon be joined by other notable launches, including Serena, which is scheduled to debut later this year.
Moskito’s presence in Antigua highlights the allure and prestige of superyachting, showcasing the pinnacle of nautical design and engineering.
