As part of its centennial celebrations, Watches of Switzerland has announced a strategic partnership with Bulgari, the renowned luxury brand. This collaboration marks a significant milestone for the British retailer, which was established in London in 1924.
The inaugural release from the Bulgari X Watches of Switzerland collaboration introduces a limited-edition iteration of Bulgari’s timeless Serpenti Seduttori. Renowned for its alluring design, the Serpenti Seduttori gained iconic status when adorned by screen legend Liz Taylor during the 1960s. The new variant features a captivating lapis lazuli dial housed within a 33mm steel case, accentuated by a bezel adorned with 38 diamonds. Notably, the caseback bears the inscription “Watches of Switzerland 1924 – 2024”. Complementing its aesthetic appeal, the watch boasts a steel bracelet and operates on a quartz movement. Limited to just 30 pieces, this exclusive timepiece will be available from May 24th at Watches of Switzerland boutiques, priced at £9300.
Continuing the collaboration, the second offering is the Octo Roma Automatic, characterized by a 41mm steel-DLC case. Boasting a smoked personalized sapphire case back, this model offers versatility with two bracelet options: a blue rubber strap or a black alligator strap with DLC coated pin buckle, easily interchangeable with the provided system. Equipped with the BVL 191 manufacture automatic movement, featuring a power reserve of 42 hours, this dark blue variant is also limited to 30 pieces and will be exclusively retailed at Watches of Switzerland boutiques for £8900.
In addition to these exclusives, Watches of Switzerland has revealed other coveted timepieces, including the Tank Louis Cartier in a numbered limited edition of 100 pieces. Further offerings include the green-dialled Doxa Sub 200T and the gold-dialled Girard-Perregaux Laureato. With more collaborations anticipated, Watches of Switzerland continues to elevate its offerings as it commemorates a century of horological excellence.
