Docked in the picturesque setting of Málaga port, Spain, last weekend, was the imposing 65-meter superyacht Illusion. Originally christened as Galactica Star, this opulent vessel was meticulously crafted by Heesen Yachts in 2013 and swiftly changed hands shortly after her completion.
Sporting the flag of the Cayman Islands, Illusion boasts an exterior design masterminded by Omega Architects, while the interior exudes elegance, courtesy of the renowned Bannenberg & Rowell Design. With a voluminous 961 GT, Illusion offers lavish accommodations for up to 12 guests across six staterooms, complemented by a dedicated crew of 13 members, ensuring a seamless and indulgent experience onboard.
The yacht is replete with an array of luxurious amenities, including a hammam, a fully-equipped gym, and a deck Jacuzzi, catering to the discerning tastes of its guests. Currently available for charter through Burgess, Illusion is propelled by two formidable MTU 20V 4000 M93L engines, affording her a cruising speed of 24 knots, with a top speed reaching an impressive 27 knots.
