Dynamiq, a prominent name in the yacht industry, has inaugurated its refit operations in the Antalya Free Zone, ushering in a new era of tailored yacht refurbishment services in southern Turkey. The shipyard aims to establish itself as the premier destination for yacht refits in Turkey, catering to a spectrum of needs from routine seasonal maintenance to intricate modifications, including complex conversions.
Situated within the secure and tax-advantageous enclave of the Antalya Free Zone, Dynamiq’s facility boasts state-of-the-art infrastructure designed to accommodate superyachts of up to 65 meters. Here, Dynamiq’s adept team, combining local craftsmanship with European standards and stringent quality control measures, stands poised to actualize clients’ visions of their ideal vessels. Notably, such operations in Turkey are subject to strict governmental oversight and necessitate special authorization, which Dynamiq successfully secured earlier this year.
The inaugural participant in Dynamiq’s refit program is the 39-meter M/Y Jetsetter, which has already docked at the shipyard’s cutting-edge facility, marking the commencement of a comprehensive and intricate refurbishment project. Encompassing a wide array of enhancements, from propulsion systems overhaul to interior upgrades, the refit’s focal point is the meticulous maintenance of the pods and their gearboxes, overseen by accredited Reintjes technicians, ensuring unparalleled quality and precision.
Founded in 2014 by seasoned yacht broker and designer Sergei Dobroserdov, Dynamiq has been a trailblazer in the industry. Pioneering the integration of an online configurator, Dynamiq allows for seamless and transparent customization of yachts down to the minutest detail. The company made waves with its debut launch, the 39m Spring (formerly Jetsetter), at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, receiving widespread acclaim. This success was followed by the GTT 115 M/Y Jaaber project, developed in collaboration with the renowned Studio F.A. Porsche design firm, which debuted triumphantly at the 2017 MYS. The latest addition to Dynamiq’s fleet includes the GTM 90 Beach Club and the innovative Global series of long-range explorer yachts, showcasing the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in yacht design and construction.
