Samsung has initiated the rollout of a fresh software update for its Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5 series smartwatches. This update, which includes the March security patch along with several bug fixes, aims to enhance the overall user experience.
Initially reported by Droid-Life, Samsung’s changelog for the update emphasizes improvements in Samsung Health’s accuracy and the resolution of previously reported issues associated with it.
Moreover, the update introduces a new feature enabling users to display select fitness data from their watches onto Samsung Smart TVs, monitors, projectors, and other compatible lifestyle products. This enhancement aligns with Samsung’s recent efforts to enhance connectivity across its ecosystem. Earlier this month, the Galaxy Watch 6 series received a similar capability to share Galaxy Watch data with other Samsung devices.
