ER Yacht Design has recently disclosed the preliminary details of their latest ambitious venture: the ER90 superyacht. Expected to embark on construction imminently, the project awaits the selection of an appropriate shipyard.
According to the studio, the ER90 is envisioned as the epitome of exploration, boasting capabilities to undertake extensive global voyages, including expeditions to the polar regions.
The design ethos of ER90’s exterior leans towards minimalism, featuring sculptural surfaces and streamlined deck layouts essential for ensuring safe navigation. All onboard systems are meticulously crafted to function optimally even in the most extreme conditions, whether traversing polar landscapes or navigating tropical waters. The incorporation of expansive windows not only enhances visibility but also contributes to the creation of light-filled and spacious interiors.
Engineered to meet Category B – Ice Class PC6 standards, the hull of the ER90 will be constructed using specialized steel suitable for cold climates, complemented by an aluminum superstructure.
Renderings of the interior showcase a contemporary and luminous aesthetic, characterized by a neutral color palette accentuated by bold light fixtures and varying hues of blue.
Ivan Erdevicki, President of ER Yacht Design, expressed his vision for the ER90 project, emphasizing its departure from conventional leisure-focused megayachts. He described the ER90 as a pinnacle of modern engineering, equipped with state-of-the-art, self-sufficient systems tailored to facilitate comfortable and luxurious journeys through the most remote corners of the globe.
This announcement comes hot on the heels of the commencement of construction on another ambitious project, the ER65, heralded as the flagship explorer within RMK Marine’s prestigious fleet.
