Excitement is palpable at the Genoa shipyard as the highly anticipated Otam 90 GTS approaches completion, slated for launch in May. With its international debut set for the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 in September, this flagship vessel marks a momentous occasion as Otam commemorates its 70th anniversary.
The Otam 90 GTS is a testament to the shipyard’s commitment to combining customized comfort, spaciousness, and impeccable style. Powered by twin MTU engines, each generating an impressive 2,600hp, and equipped with Arneson drives, the yacht promises exhilarating speeds exceeding 40 knots.
Crafted in collaboration with Giuseppe Bagnardi of BG Design Firm, the yacht features bespoke design elements that set it apart. The helm console, inspired by the sleek lines of racing cars, boasts a carbon-fiber structure reminiscent of Formula 1’s ‘halo’ system, complete with an integrated cooling system.
Externally, the hull is adorned in a custom silver metallic paint with bronze accents, reflecting the owner’s discerning taste and preference for elegance.
Internally, the Otam 90 GTS offers a layout that seamlessly blends luxury with sporty aesthetics. The three ensuite cabins, including a full-beam owner’s cabin, a VIP cabin, and a guest cabin, along with a lounge, ensure comfort and relaxation for all on board. The main deck features a spacious cockpit, separate kitchen access, ample sunbathing areas, and a bathing platform, catering to both leisure and entertainment needs.
With a myriad of customization options available, such as full or half-height side windows and various garage sizes, the Otam 90 GTS exemplifies the shipyard’s dedication to pure custom craftsmanship.
Matteo Belardinelli, Otam Sales & Communication Manager, emphasizes, “Every detail has been developed with and for the owner, ensuring a unique and exclusive expression of luxury.”
The shipyard’s illustrious history traces back to 1954 in Liguria, where its professionalism quickly distinguished it, earning recognition as the first authorized Riva yacht Service Center for the Med Sea. In the 1980s, Otam garnered attention by fitting around 25 yachts for an American builder before embarking on its production of Otam 45′ and 55′ models. Today, with approximately 90 yachts to its credit, Otam stands as a specialist in Italian yacht craftsmanship, offering a diverse range of vessels spanning from 45′ to 130′, alongside its esteemed custom range, promising limitless possibilities for discerning clientele.
