Antalya-based yacht builder Bering Yachts has released captivating renderings of its latest creation, the B165 superyacht. Introduced at the Dubai International Boat Show 2024, this 49.4-metre flagship showcases a harmonious blend of explorer yacht ruggedness and luxury superyacht comfort.
Crafted with exterior design expertise from Valentin Design, the B165 boasts a bold and distinctive profile, embodying what Valentin Design describes as a “distinctive crossover explorer.” This design seamlessly marries the practicality of a transoceanic vessel with the refined allure inherent in a motor yacht focused on an experiential journey.
The superyacht’s main saloon, featuring an open-plan layout, gracefully transitions into the dining area, offering a luxurious setting for up to 12 guests around a spacious dining table. With a six-stateroom configuration, the B165 accommodates guests in comfort, with a master suite spanning 32 square metres on the owner’s deck, equipped with a large bathroom and an impressive 34 square-metre skylounge featuring a bar, table, and ample seating.
On the main deck, guests can enjoy an alfresco dining experience at a large table aft, while a Jacuzzi lounge graces the bow. An additional versatile room on the main deck can serve as a movie theatre or an extra guest stateroom. Additional guest staterooms and crew cabins, accommodating up to eight members, are located on the lower deck, alongside an extra stateroom for personnel such as a nanny, guide, or masseur.
The Bering B165’s main deck boasts an elongated aft deck featuring a large swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds. The space can be expanded with unfolding bulwarks, and the covered pool doubles as a storage area for toys and equipment. Two tenders on the aft deck enhance exploration possibilities for guests.
Equipped with twin 1,300 horsepower Caterpillar C32 engines, the B165 reaches a top speed of 15 knots and a cruising speed of 12 knots, emphasizing its eco-friendly design. Alexei Mikhailov, founder of Bering Yachts, stated, “The Bering 165 is made to be eco-friendly,” highlighting the ample engine room space designed for alternative energy solutions and a substantial battery bank.
As the newest flagship of Bering Yachts, the B165 follows the 44.2-metre B145, with the first hull, Heeus, delivered in 2022. This latest addition reinforces Bering Yachts’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of luxury yachting with innovative design and responsible construction.
