Cantiere delle Marche (CDM) has achieved yet another milestone in its recent surge of success, sealing a deal for a distinctive 39.4-metre explorer yacht. The announcement marks the shipyard’s third contract in as many weeks and was formally inked in partnership with Arcon Yachts.
The exterior design of the vessel will be crafted by Hydro Tec, complemented by interiors envisioned by Giorgio M. Cassetta. Although comprehensive details are yet to be disclosed, it is revealed that the four-deck explorer will boast an eight-metre beam and feature an “extremely efficient hull” equipped with a bulbous bow, emphasizing a commitment to minimizing fuel consumption.
Vasco Buonpensiere, co-founder and CEO of CDM, expressed his satisfaction with the recent commercial success, stating, “I am pleased to express our satisfaction with this additional commercial success, which reaffirms the validity of our strategy centered around the quality and reliability of the explorer yachts we have built up to now, and our commitment to owners’ satisfaction.” He went on to highlight the pride in the shipyard’s hard-earned reputation for excellence.
The yacht, powered by twin Caterpillar C18 engines, will achieve a top speed of 13.5 knots and boast an impressive range of over 5,000 nautical miles at 10 knots.
This latest accomplishment follows BOAT International’s recent exploration of Stellamar’s interiors, specifically CDM’s inaugural 35-metre RJ115 explorer yacht, showcasing the shipyard’s dedication to combining functionality with luxurious design.
