Luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz has introduced the refreshed GLA and GLE AMG 53 Coupe models in India, setting the starting prices at Rs. 50.50 lakh and Rs. 1.85 crore, respectively, excluding showroom costs. The latest iterations boast subtle exterior enhancements, an upgraded infotainment system, and advanced technological features.
The revised GLA showcases a redesigned set of head and tail lamps, complemented by a refreshed grille. Notable changes include the replacement of black plastic cladding around the wheel arches with body-colored inserts. The cutting-edge MBUX system operates on a new interface and features 3D maps. Available in 200 and 220d trims, spanning Progressive and AMG Line variants, the former is equipped with a 1.3-liter petrol engine producing 161bhp and 270Nm, while the latter, powered by a 2.0-liter diesel mill, generates 188bhp and 400Nm of peak torque.
In tandem, the performance-oriented AMG GLE 53 Coupe undergoes similar exterior updates, showcasing new lights. Beneath its hood, the AMG GLE 53 Coupe packs a robust 3.0-liter petrol engine, delivering an impressive 429bhp and 520Nm of torque.
