L’Oréal Canada has revealed that SalonCentric Canada, its subsidiary, is set to acquire the operations of ICON SALON SYSTEMS, a comprehensive private distributor based in British Columbia (BC).
This strategic move signals SalonCentric Canada’s expansion into BC, a significant step for the subsidiary. ICON SALON SYSTEMS, a well-established presence in the region, manages 7 professional-only stores, boasts a team of 12 sales representatives, and employs an additional 41 staff members.
An Verhulst-Santos, President and CEO of L’Oréal Canada, emphasized the commitment of L’Oréal Canada’s Professional Products Division to serve the 100,000 stylists nationwide. “The expansion of SalonCentric Canada in British Columbia, following a successful launch in Ontario last year, will enable us to address the evolving needs of all stylists and solidify our position as the industry’s ultimate destination for premier products and services,” Verhulst-Santos stated.
This acquisition aligns with L’Oréal’s broader strategy to enhance its presence in key regions and reinforces SalonCentric Canada’s dedication to providing exceptional services to beauty professionals across the country. The move is expected to strengthen the company’s foothold in the professional beauty industry and enhance its ability to meet the diverse requirements of stylists.
