Stratos Yacht introduces the DB50, a 15m vessel that stands as a testament to seaworthiness and engineering excellence in its class. Crafted in collaboration with renowned experts, including yachting veteran Bas Lengers, the DB50 is set to make its public debut at boot Düsseldorf 2024.
Designed to be the epitome of seaworthiness and iconic style, the DB50 is a result of collaboration with naval architects from Sea Level and designer Bernd Weel. It redefines standards for yachts in the 50-foot class, embodying Dutch superyacht quality.
The DB50, described as an SUV on water, seamlessly combines strength and style. Powered by the latest twin Volvo Penta IPS systems, it reaches speeds of 36 knots and holds CE Classification A, ensuring it can navigate challenging weather conditions on extended voyages. Project designer Bernd Weel emphasizes the vessel’s robust build and CE-A certified construction, providing owners with a safe and secure experience.
Distinguishing itself in its class, the DB50 features a unique grid design, an ultra-dense composite material hull, and a lightweight carbon hardtop, ensuring resilience and sea-going ability. Stratos Yacht offers personalization options, allowing owners to choose exterior colors, upholstery, teak finishes, and interior selections through an online configuration tool.
Partnering exclusively with Lengers Yachts as its sales partner, Stratos Yacht aims to set a new standard in vessel excellence with the DB50. Brand Manager Paul Verheij emphasizes a complete care-free experience for owners, allowing them to focus on enjoying the thrill of their Stratos experience.
