Australian premium beverage distributor Craft Revolution has secured a new distribution deal with The Hills Cider Co, marking a strategic move for both entities in the competitive beverage market.
The collaboration comes on the heels of The Hills Cider Co’s recent acquisition by the Jetty Road Publican Group, a consortium of influential investors led by former CUB CEO Peter Filipovic. This group, which also includes the Jetty Road Brewery, saw its beer brand join Craft Revolution’s portfolio in November 2023.
Craft Revolution CEO Campbell Speers expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “As Craft Revolution continues to expand its footprint across Australia, we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to represent this authentic cider.” He commended The Hills Cider Co for its commitment to using the finest local ingredients and maintaining control over the production process, emphasizing their eco-friendly practices and focus on waste minimization.
Peter Filipovic, representing the Jetty Road Publican Group, shared his perspective on the collaboration, stating, “Craft Revolution’s wide distribution network and dynamic approach to marketing sets us up for a very successful start to 2024.” Following the recent acquisition of The Hills Cider Co from Mighty Craft, Filipovic highlighted the need for a partner that could accelerate the growth of the iconic brand, which has played a pivotal role in putting Adelaide Hills on the cider map.
Craft Revolution’s portfolio, already robust with premium spirits and a diverse range of local and international beers, will now include The Hills Cider Co. The latter’s flagship product, The Hills Cider Draught, is set to be available as a tap offering, contributing to Craft Revolution’s comprehensive lineup of beverages. This strategic alliance aims to leverage Craft Revolution’s extensive distribution network and marketing expertise, ensuring a successful trajectory for The Hills Cider Co in 2024.
