As Bangalore Fashion Week approaches its ‘silver jubilee edition,’ scheduled from March 7 to 10, 2024, the prestigious event is set to showcase an array of local designers in the vibrant city of Bengaluru. Additionally, the runway spectacle will extend its reach globally with an international edition slated to take place in London.
Having successfully organized 24 editions in Bengaluru to date, the upcoming 25th edition aims to foster connections between Indian fashion designers and trade buyers from around the world. The event, as highlighted on the Bangalore Fashion Week website, places a special emphasis on premium designers, encompassing both western and traditional wear segments, presenting collections tailored for the upcoming summer season.
The organizers have opened model registrations for the eagerly awaited edition, and the event is set to unfold at The Oterra. Attendees can anticipate an exciting lineup featuring runway shows, an immersive experience zone, engaging workshops, seminars, and lively after-parties. Dream Merchants, the events management company behind the fashion extravaganza, is also known for organizing the Miss Bangalore beauty pageant.
Notably, the 24th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week took place in September 2023, in collaboration with Wear Style at The Oterra. The event featured Great Indian Gin as the party partner and was impeccably produced by Dream Merchants. The fashion week has previously ventured into the international scene with editions held in Bangkok, Thailand, and Dubai, catering to an audience of global buyers.
