Paris Fashion Week Men’s, scheduled from January 16 to 21, 2024, is set to be a spectacle with Louis Vuitton once again making its mark. The luxury label, known for its creative and influential showcases, is expected to unveil its latest creations, following the impressive display led by Pharrell Williams in the previous season, which nearly overshadowed the entire event.
The upcoming fashion week will feature a diverse lineup of 74 labels, including 42 runway shows over six days. Notable returns to the runway include Valentino and Balmain, with shows scheduled on Saturday at 6 pm CET and 8.30 pm CET, respectively. GMBH is set to close the week on Sunday at 7 pm CET, with the possibility of a surprise show added at the very end.
Newcomers to the runway scene include Japanese label Auralee, US label Winnie, and Chinese label Ziggy Chen, all set to stage their first runway shows this year. Indian label Kartik Research, an LVMH prize semi-finalist, will also be presenting its designs, while French label Ouest Paris and Meta Campania Collective from Italy will make their debut appearances.
Despite the exciting lineup, some notable names, including Marine Serre, Etudes, Koché, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, Georges Wendell, Courrèges, and British label Bianca, will be absent from this season’s edition compared to the previous one in June. The absence of these labels creates room for fresh perspectives and highlights the dynamic nature of the fashion landscape.
