The construction of the fourth 60-meter ketch sailing yacht by Perini Navi, a brand of The Italian Sea Group, is progressing rapidly. Work at the Marina di Carrara shipyard is in full swing to deliver a vessel that embodies both safety and efficiency for an unparalleled sailing experience.
Developed in collaboration with Ron Holland, who oversaw the naval architecture, the 60-meter yacht is designed for those looking for lasting safety, comfort and efficiency on the open seas. Built with an aluminum hull and superstructure, with a gross tonnage of less than 500 and a displacement of approximately 570 tons, the yacht integrates carbon fiber masts, booms and rigging for optimal performance.
The sailing system has been redesigned to emphasize ease of handling, speed and improved overall performance. Incorporating cutting-edge technology, a state-of-the-art dynamic positioning system ensures the yacht maintains its position and heading autonomously, eliminating the need for an anchor.
Inside, the yacht boasts an innovative design by French designer Remy Tessier that blends modernity with tradition to create an elegant and comfortable ambience. The owner’s suite and five guest staterooms embody luxury and sophistication in a tasteful and understated manner.
With the optimization of the facilities now complete, the focus shifts to the outfitting and mast work. The launch and delivery of this remarkable yacht is scheduled for the end of 2024.
Giovanni Costantino, Founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group, said: “The lines of this 60-meter yacht are the result of a constant effort that has allowed us to preserve the unmistakable Perini Navi style while creating a more modern yacht.
