Wilsons Auctions has been appointed to auction off €500,000 worth of luxury items seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB).
Among the 100 lots to be sold are vintage watches from the likes of Rolex, Gucci, Cartier and Raymond Weil.
The auction will feature an impressive jewelry menu, including numerous diamond rings, a 14-carat white gold necklace, 14-carat white gold bracelets, diamond earrings and an 18-carat gold Cartier Love bracelet.
Other designer items include a selection of Chanel and Louis Vuitton handbags, belts and sunglasses, as well as Moncler and Canada Goose jackets.
Gold bars will also be for sale, available to bidders in 1-ounce packages.
According to Ricky Wilson, director and auctioneer at Wilsons Auctions’, the auction is “an ideal opportunity for bidders to get their hands on Christmas gifts”.
“We are delighted to be managing the sale for CAB. Wilsons Auctions has a reputation for dealing with seized goods. All the money raised from this auction will go directly back into the state.
The auction will be held online from Friday, December 1 through Monday, December 4.
Prospective bidders must pay a €1,000 deposit to enter the auction, which is refundable upon request, while items can only be viewed by appointment.
