The Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones (Danat) has announced a more than 70% increase in the number of inspection certificates issued for pearls, gemstones and jewelry to attendees of the Jewellery Arabia Exhibition compared to last year.
The show, held at Exhibition World Bahrain from November 14-18, saw an exceptional response to Danat’s innovative instant certification service. Danat’s pavilion attracted large crowds of visitors eager to verify their purchases of fine jewelry, rosaries, pearls, gemstones, gold and diamond collections.
The quick and efficient inspection and certification process, completed in minutes and conveniently delivered through the Danat mobile app, played a key role in attracting visitors, according to a statement.
In addition, Danat’s dedicated team went the extra mile to meticulously inspect various components and provide comprehensive inspection reports that gave customers confidence in the quality and authenticity of their purchases, it said.
Danat’s “Oyster Shucking” experience for show attendees increased by more than 80%, offering them a unique opportunity to uncover the pearls hidden inside oysters. This engaging activity generated a great deal of interest, with visitors expressing their enjoyment of this distinctive experience, which Danat says is both valuable and creates unforgettable memories.
Participants praised the initiative for enhancing their understanding of the interaction with oysters and giving them the opportunity to acquire the pearls inside, Danat said.
Noora Jamsheer, CEO of Danat Institute, said: “We are very proud of the resounding success of our presence at this year’s Jewellery Arabia Show.
