POLICE are appealing for the public’s help following a burglary in which $100,000 worth of jewelry was stolen in Mickleham earlier this month.
It is understood two unknown men gained access to a residential property on Old Sydney Road by kicking in the front door at around 2.55pm on November 2.
Police believe the pair made off with approximately $100,000 in jewelry and a substantial amount of cash.
No one was home at the time of the break-in.
Police believe the two men drove a stolen dark blue BMW X4 to the property before leaving in the same vehicle.
Detectives have released CCTV footage and images of two men they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
One man is described as having olive skin, a dark beard, short dark hair and a medium build.
He was last seen wearing a black Nike hoodie and black Nike pants.
The second man is described as having olive skin, a dark beard and a heavy build.
He was last seen wearing a black hat, black sweater and blue denim shorts.
