The Italian cosmetics manufacturer has inaugurated a brand new factory in Offanengo, in the province of Cremona, in northern Italy, just three kilometers from its headquarters.
Called Argos, the new 5,000-square-meter facility will serve as a hub for the filling and assembly of makeup products. According to Chromavis Fareva, it is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and plans are underway to install new capabilities that will further increase the company’s production capacity.
This investment (more than 2 million euros for the acquisition of the building and part of the machinery) is intended to strengthen the integration and synergy between the company’s various operations. According to Chromavis, the proximity of the two sites will promote efficient collaboration and coordination, ensuring a seamless flow of innovation and ideas. In addition, the new site will help reduce the environmental impact of the company’s operations.
The Argos site currently employs 15 people and is expected to grow to 40 by the end of the year. Chromavis expects to have up to 150 people on site over the next two years.
“The Argos facility represents our commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering unparalleled cosmetic solutions. It signifies our promise to provide cutting-edge capabilities and unparalleled service to our customers worldwide,” said Thibaut Fraisse, CEO of Chromavis.
Previously, in 2019-2020, Chromavis Farevainvested 50 million euros in the construction of its new production site and headquarters in Offanengo, bringing together various units in a single 50,000 m2 facility.
