Maybe Sammy co-founder and former creative director Andrea Gualdi has joined Merivale as the new Group Beverage Manager. With a wealth of experience in developing award-winning beverage programs, Gualdi will be responsible for enhancing Merivale’s beverage offering across its 90+ venues.
Gualdi shared his excitement about the role, saying: “Merivale’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of hospitality aligns perfectly with my own passion for creating unique and memorable beverages. I look forward to working with Merivale’s talented teams to create a beverage offering that rivals the best in the world.”
Prior to joining Merivale, Gualdi led the creative direction of the Maybe Sammy group and later oversaw the food and beverage offering across Ovolo Hotel’s Australian properties.
In his new role, Gauldi will develop and execute Merivale’s beverage strategy across its diverse portfolio of restaurants, bars, nightclubs and event spaces.
Gualdi joins James Irvine, Merivale’s new group creative cocktail lead, who is developing an innovative approach to beverages.
