AmorePacific Group has announced its results for the third quarter of the current fiscal year. The K-beauty giant saw net sales fall 5.7 percent year-on-year to KRW 963.35 billion, while operating profit fell 13 percent.
Net profit, however, rose an impressive 29 percent, which AmorePacific attributed to equity gains from affiliates, according to a Korea Times report.
Drilling down into the sales figures, AmorePacific said that increased sales in Japan, Europe, the US and the Middle East helped offset a lackluster performance in China, e-commerce and duty-free.
